I can't figure out why these are still so popular. I tried to move it over to our upgraded computer to see if that would help but it doesn't work at all. The game play is rather dull, my 8 year old never plays with it for very long. It is slow to update and we often have error messages. And don't get me started on the Dream State issue. The makers of this toy should be ashamed of themselves.
The product claims to be Vista compatible but it is not. Mattel has no plans to produce a 64-bit version, and provides no means for customers to return the product. The product labeling does not reflect these facts. Mattel customer service for this product is non-existent. Calls to the toll free number on the package refer you to their website, and the website refers you to the toll-free number.
The toy arrived in tact and I mailed it to my Niece. She is enjoying it thoroughly. Thank you for a smooth transaction.
My computer is about 3 years old with XP, could not install it with a message"windows does not recognize the UB hub", called tech support with no help. very disappoint. Don't waste money.
The characters in this set do not access the Dream state areas. To Nightmare Rift: Ptep, Snipe, Sprocket and Vlurp. I have no idea why it is packaged this way. Currently the only ones that go to Daydream Oasis are: Berger, Dyer, Lucky and Tank. False advertising if you ask me. I bought it recently for my daughter and took it back.
